INSPIRED BY THE AMERICAN SOUTHWEST
Lonny Granston paints where he feels most at home: outside. Inspired by the American Southwest, his work uses bold strokes of color and a complementary palette to capture the world as he experiences it. He works primarily in pastel, with occasional watercolor and oil, creating pieces that feel inviting, personal, and rooted in a love for the the outdoors.

Drifting across America in his Ford F-250, with his pastels and the occasional rescue dog by his side, Lonny explores the beauty of the American Southwest en plein air. He brings unexpected curiosity, vivid color and a grounded perspective to his work.
